Regular Gilda plush w/ posable wings and tail

And here it is! Finally, the first Griffon plush ever is out! And oh boi it looks rad (yeah, I use old words from the 70s). And since I really wanted to put my balls on the table, I decided to make spread wings, plus posable wings and tail cause Why the hay not!?

There are a few things to say about that plush. First of all, despite Gabby being the cutest thing ever (except for squirrels and baby otters), my favorite Griffon in MLP is of course Gilda. She just looks so badass, seriously! And The Lost Treasure of Griffinstone made me love her even more. I do love Griffin in general, that changes from the cutesy pony theme of the show (another reason why I'm not THAT fond of Gabby). So when I had to decide which Griffon I'd do as the first Griffon plush I'd ever make, the choice wasn't that tough. I made a few tweaks in her design, though, just to make her even more badass. I just changed her beak so it looks more like an actual eagle beak, though it also looks a bit much on the condor side. I just wanted to add a more feral vibe to that plush, that's also why I added some pipecleaners in the wings and tail, just to have some epic Griffon posing cause why not. She just looks so bestial here, ready to rip the coypu that live on the riverside in front of my house. I was forced to hand sew the head due to the different separate pieces to make the feathers, the beak and the chest, but the rest is machine sewn thankfully. I'm really proud of how she turned out. 

Gilda is made out of Snow White, Mango, Mauve, Camel and Cappuccino Minky Cuddle 3 and was hand embroidered with DMC embroidery threads.
